Selected Candidates for Scholarship for Session 2020-21


Thank you all the applicants who have attended the online personal interview and gone through our rigorous review process. But we are sorry that we were unable to select all the students due to our limited funds. All of you have shown a great support to the Aalo Charitable Organization. HS Results of Our Scholarship Recipients in 2020



This year, out of 23 (Female 09, Male 14) students 9 students scored above 95%, 3 students scored above 90%, 7 students scored above 85% and 1 students scored above 80%.

Some of the distinguished students

In arts stream Ajay Pal from Dhanicha High School, Chakdah, Nadia scored 491 (98.260%) and Priyanka Hens from Hajipur Union High School (H.S.), Hooghly scored 483 (96.60%).

In science stream Shubhranshu Das from Balagarh High School (H.S.), Hooghly secured 490 (98.0%) while Jyoti Prakash Manna from Sundarban Adarsha Vidya Mandir, Kakdwip, South 24 pargona scored 488 (97.6%). Huge congratulations to all our students and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.

We are excited to announce that this year 27 new candidates are selected for the award of Aalo scholarship. These candidates will be contacted personally over phone by the Aalo committee members. Decision of the Aalo managing committee is full and final, and no further inquiry regarding the selection of candidates will be entertained. Selected students are required to attend the "Annual Celebration and Scholarship Giving Ceremony" to be held on 12-01-2020. The details of the venue and timing will be published later on the website and on our facebook page.

We are amazed by the success of our scholarship recipients.
Out of 19 (Female 11, Male 08) students 1 scored above 95%, 9 scored above 90%, 6 students scored above 85% and 3 students scored above 80% (click here for details). Huge congratulations to all of them and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.

This year 22 new candidates are selected for the award of scholarship from Aalo after the personal interview held on 25-11-2018. These candidates will be contacted personally over phone by the Aalo committee members. Decision of the Aalo managing committee is full and final, and no further inquiry regarding the selection of candidates will be entertained. Selected students are required to attend the "Annual Celebration and Scholarship Giving Ceremony" to be held on 13-01-2019 at 11:30 AM at Vivekananda Hall, Jadavpur University, Jadavpur.

Overall Performance of Our Scholarship Recipients 2018

This year 21 new candidates are selected for the award of scholarship from Aalo after the personal interview held on 26-11-2017. These candidates will be contacted personally over phone by the Aalo committee members. Decision of the Aalo managing committee is full and final, and no further inquiry regarding the selection of candidates will be entertained. Selected students are requested to attend the "Annual Celebration and Scholarship Giving Ceremony" to be held on 14-01-2018 at 11:30 AM sharp at Vivekananda Hall, Jadavpur University, Jadavpur.

Success of Our Scholarship Recipients


The success of our scholarship recipients has been very remarkable.

We are very proud to announce that this year all our 15 H.S. candidates did very well in the examination. With 2 Students scoring more than 90%, 6 students scoring between 80-90% and 4 students scoring between 70-80% the success rate of all our students is 100%.
On this occasion, we would like to say a big 'Thank you' to all our members and contributors for supporting our students with their finance so that they could rest assured and focus on their studies.

Happy new year, everyone. We are glad to announce that we have selected 19 new students for receiving Aalo scholarship for the academic years 2016 - 2018. The selection procedure was done using a mathematical expression giving equal weight to the score obtained by the candidate during initial screening and the interview score allotted by the panel members.

Success of Our Scholarship Recipients


The success of our scholarship recipients never stops to amaze us.
Today we are very proud to announce that this year all our 15 H.S. candidates not only passed but also did very well in the examination. Swagata ghosh from Burdwan scored 90.2% (in Arts). 5 Students got more than 80%. Debjani Mondal from North 24 Parganas is one of them who scored 88% (in Science). Another 5 students got more than 70% and rest of the 4 students got more than 60%.
In this occasion, we would like to say a big 'Thank you' to all our members and contributors for supporting our students with their finance so that they could rest assured and focus on their studies.
